Unschooling Diaries #7: Who is The Real Culprit?

I have a friend who asks me every day 5-6 times- Am I looking good, Am I looking too fat. So, one day I asked her ‘if you care so much, why don’t you take care of your health and exercise?”

Often I have noticed, in our lives, we blame other people for our problems, including me. We blame the fashion industry for setting impossible beauty standards, but who preaches it?. We blame our bosses for inhuman working hours, and then we don’t work on becoming self-sufficient. The examples can go on and on, but the point is that we repeatedly try to accuse someone else of the problems we are responsible for in the first place. I believe realizing this is important because if we start taking responsibility for our problems then we are one step closer to solving them.

Tell me one thing that you know you are responsible for but try to shoulder it on others.
